Coach

Brianne
Biddle

Brianne began working in the fitness industry in 1997 after becoming a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor while attending Florida State University. She has taught numerous fitness classes including Spinning, Body Pump, step, and yoga. As a personal trainer, Brianne has worked with many people including doctors, executives, stay-at-home moms, fitness competitors, and even a Nascar pit crew (in the same building that ACR currently occupies). In 2004, she went to work full time as a high school math teacher, but continued to teach group fitness classes during her afternoons, evenings, and summers.

In 2010, Brianne was growing bored with her personal fitness routine and was invited by a couple of friends to attend a CrossFit class. She began incorporating CrossFit into her regular fitness routine and was hooked after seeing a dramatic increase in lean muscle mass. Brianne has coached high school weightlifting for five years and competed and trained with an all women's power-lifting team for three years. She currently holds a CF-L1 and CF-L2.

One of Brianne’s passions is nutrition. She loves to cook and bake and loves to talk with people about ways they can become more healthy and thrive by the foods they eat. She also really enjoys the StrongFit classes at ACR. Brianne enjoys helping people take control of their health by moving more, lifting heavy things, and eating well.

Owner and Coach

Angela EVANS

At the age of 7, Angela has called Panama City, Fl. her home. She left to attend the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration. After graduating, she had moved and lived many places around the southeast, had 3 beautiful children in the meantime and then returned back to Panama City in 2017.

She started her health journey in Crossfit in 2017 as well. I fell in love with the nature of functional fitness and the community that Crossfit gyms create. It’s not just the workout, it is the entire environment that makes it so fun. She received her Crossfit L-1 certification in 2019 to become a better athlete, not necessarily to Coach. Coaching for her started as a bi-product of Hurricane Michael. Gyms were closed but people still needed a sense of normalcy. She had a garage gym where she helped people in a more intimate setting and loved it. Angela became the proud owner of ACR in 2020 and one of the Coaches on staff. Angela wants to help people find what she found in this realm of fitness.

Kate
watrous

Originally from northern Michigan, Kate has called many places home as a military spouse. She is blessed to be a stay-at-home mom, and she also volunteers with several different organizations.

As a teenager, Kate figure skated before a knee injury finally made her quit in 2001. She didn’t get back into any formal physical activity until finally having a wake-up call about her health in 2013 after the birth of her second child. She spent several years running and doing yoga before transitioning to at home workouts that focused on strength training.

In 2020, inspired by a friend and propelled by a need for community, Kate attended her first Crossfit class and loved everything about it (except burpees.) In 2022, Kate obtained her CF-L1 in order to push herself further, and also to allow her to share her love of Crossfit with others. She is excited to be able to encourage people and watch them grow.
